2nd Biopsy is over.

Hi all just wanted to let you know that I made it through the needle biopsy today. I was one of the lucky ones that didnt have my lung collapse. turn

The only thing that hurt during the procedure was the medication to numb it and that wasn't to bad. I think I might have been to quiet during the procedure because they kept asking me are you all right. lol

Anyhow after the procedure I had to sit in a room for about a half hour to make sure I was breathing ok. Well I will tell you one thing that numbing medication lasted long enough for the procedure and was totally worn off by the time I came home. shakehead

I am still hurting but it is getting better. I finally worked up the nerve to eat a little something and it is settling ok.

I will let you know more when I get these next biopsy results.

Oh, Shirley, what a relief! Thank you for telling us. I'm glad you're doing pretty well.

You made me laugh when you said they kept asking if you were all right because you were so quiet. At the dentist, I realized I was holding my breath from fear, so I did a big exhale. He got sooooo concerned - thought I was in pain just because I exhaled. LOL Well - at least they care enough to ask, right? Sounds like you had a pretty nice team working on you.

Hope the pain goes totally away quickly. So glad your lungs stayed expanded like normal and did not collapse.

Glad to hear you're trying to eat. Hope everything continues to set well.

Shirley~I'll bet you're glad that is over! Wow, what a strong person you are! You know, it's the quiet ones you have to keep your eye on. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks so much all of you for your continued prayers and support. You guys have been wonderful to me. The pain today is alot better and I was able to eat supper last night so the healing is doing well. Somebody told me that I am a stoic North Dakotan. I told him I wouldnt have been so stoic if the numbing hadnt worked. LOL Hope all of you are doing well.

I'm so glad you are doing better each day.  These tests can be horrible and unnerving to boot.  Two down and hopefully no more to do!  Feel better!

I bet that is a relief to have it over! turn   Of course just the needle part, and I know the waiting is mentally exhausting. Hang in there. You are strong, stay that way. Heather
