Question???

Just curious to know if anyone else had mono before?

I really feel like I may have EBV but only the doctor can tell. But I do remember reading something about several people that have Fibro and or Lyme also had Mono at least once in their life???

I had mono before. 5 years after I had mono, I started having extreme problems with fatigue, and joint pain, along with extremely swolen glands, and the EBV was found in the bloodwork. They never did get to the bottom of my problem, but I believe that is when I had the first fibro symptoms that no one could explain.

When my Doctor was doing testing to rule everything else out, she discovered I had the epstien bar virus in the past.

I just read somewhere (dont ask me where, maybe fibro for dummies? )        that there may be a link between the epstien bar virus and fibro.

I guess one day we may know, maybe there are different triggers.  I think extreme stress brought the fibro on for me.  It's still pretty new to me..  not fun!!!!

We just gotaa do our best to still enjoy life. My D H is good to me, and supportove, but I wish he would take more of an interest in learning what fibro is all about.

Yes, had it in highschool, but my Fibro symptoms started much sooner than When I got Mono. I was sick alot as a child though..
