can you describe me the exact feeling in your head?

im having fibro for 5 years now and the most unfomfortable feeling i have of all the full body pains is the feeling in my face.

if you can ill appreciate if for a second you concentrate only on your face and tell me exactly what you feel daily and how bad is it?
i have extreme sensitivity on my face, that you really feel when "tapping" on the face especially on the sinuses or eye sockets(no sinusitis), but all over.
the feeling is of "fullness" on the face all the time, unability to deal with the outside, looking directly at people etc, in addition to my never ending chronic stuffed nosed-started before fibro.
sometimes i actually have the feeling of foreign object in my eyes and i can "feel" it.
of course the feeling in the eyes especially is very unfomfortable.
i must say that when i do have "active dryness" here and there, the dryness feeling definatelly worse then what i have daily, and as you may know a doc didnt find a thing in the eyes exept for the usual dryness.

but it is very harsh feeling that effect me very much, and although i know it may be a part of the full fibro feeling, but its not a common thing that i hear from fibro patients.

so i will apreciate if you describe to me the feeling in your face.

?BTW-the feeling in the face is not like "painfull migraines" or the sharp feeling like you feel when youre puking/have headache and go away after a few hours. its not like people with chronic headaches may feel all the time, but its more very very annoying stuffed feeling then "pure painfull that you want to cry".
one in a while, like in months, i may feel extreme stubbing to the head bt not more often, mostly its just very very unfomfortable.

let me ask you and the others this:
tap with your fingers all over your face and especially on the eye sockets/sinuses(nose) and on close bones on the face.
do you feel big discomfort when tapping? even pretty big pain?

thats the thing, i have the bad habit of tensing my eyes much, and sometimes as i look in the mirror i notice it, and when i release them i see them mooving pretty much.
i have it for years actually, and i also find myself tense my shoulders alot and pull them upwards to the ears without noticing.
when i tried finding the cause, searching for sinusitis and the feeling i have in my nose, the docs found nothing yet the feeling always stayed which made me thing its fibro related.

 

 I feel like I have something in my eye alot, I don't have pain in my face but I do feel sparks going off in the back of my head ,it comes from my neck to the very back of my head,it hurts soo bad sometimes and it's very scarey!

Welcome and I'm sorry you are in pain.

Has your doctor checked you for sinus infection???? Or anything along those lines?

I don't have pain in my face, although my mom teases and says that my face pains her. lol

Mine is more in my head....the lightheadedness and headaches. I do have some blurry vision but no pain.
Hope you get something figured out soon.

I have never heard of this with fibro.  I would suggest you see an otolaryngologist...an ear, nose, throat specialist.  It sounds like something in that area. 

 

I will get some sinus pressure when storms are around and tapping on the bones around my eye will feel a little tender but that rarely happens to me and it's caused by sinus problems, not fibro.  So, if you are feeling this badly, I would suggest you search out a specialist.  Not everything is caused by fibromyalgia.  Let us know what you find out.  Hope you get answers and feel better soon.
