Update on the tongue swelling

Ok so i waited a couple days and I have a huge head cold, the neck glands are very swollen and tons of sinus pain, stilll haveing that feeling with my tongue and stuff so i looked in my mouth and that thing that hangs down in the back of my throat is touching my tongue! So this would explain what i am feeling, i guess it is enlarged and swollen. It is a very awkward feeling to have it resting on my tongue! But hey if it can happen to anyone it happens to me! lol! Just cannot wait till this sinus and head cold pass.

Make sure u don't get white spots, fever, or rash. Could be strep.

Your thinking of the uvula(sp?) that thingy in the center of your thoat.  I have had that and it is so annoying till it goes back to the reg way.  Mine gets that way from sleeping with my mouth open.  It swells up and I swear it gets like 3 times the size.  Sorry your having troubles.

Yes please make sure u don't have white spots It happened to me and I had strep no fun at all was in pain for 2 weeks cause I did'nt know what was going on just saw white spots and got worse as the days went by with high fever.

I do not have any white spots and my throat is not sore thank goodness. But it is still feeling very funny when i talk it feels kind of like i have a lisp! LoL! Hey it could be alot worse. And yes I did mean the uvula! So weird. Thanks everyone I did feel better today but Still just feel really weird when i try and talk and when i swallow.
