Nyquil for Fibro

Ok cause I am up in the middle of the night...again, I am sitting on line and thinking... Why do they not have nyquil for fibro???? idea   Just imagine something that would relax muscles, calm down joint pain, soothes burning skin, slow the brain, and let you sleep.... heres my ad for it:

The nighttime crampy muscle, achey body, foggy brain, burning skin, chest wall pain healing so you can rest medicine!

Any ideas? I thought of this cause i took a uscle relaxer to relax the tense muscles, but chest wall is hurting and body is still achey all over, but muscles feel better..... still cant sleep!

Ok now that you all are sure that the fibromites have eaten what little is left of my brain, I will go read some more posts and maybe play on facebook!

Sounds good to me! Of course, there would have to be the usual disclaimers: "Blahblah is not for everyone. Side effects may include headache, vomiting, fever, chills, dizziness, fatigue, toe pain, eyes jumping out of their sockets, loss of identity, coma, or deathwish."

It's amazing how much time I waste(?) on Facebook some days. But it's fun. Hope you finally got some good sleep.

My big problem with my insomnia is I don't usually know until about 2am when my eyes are wide open and it is too late or early to take anything for sleep

GSD that is how I am too... Always decided I cant sleep when its too late to take something to sleep.... The last few days have been rough and my mind has been wandering (and not coming back)!

Hi Guys, its daylight downunder

FMS and insomnia. I sympathise with you. Nothing is worse. I spent months or years before I learnt that they were connected. I take 30mg Serepax and 10mg Endep every night, and sleep like a baby. Don't you find, fibro so hard to deal with, without sleep?

I had a big flare this week, and he doc asked what activities set it off. But it was emotional disturbances that flared the fibro. My cat died (had to euthanase my siamese after 12 years) , the car broke down (head gasket) and the carpets were shampooed (all the furniture had to be moved - I couldn't do it myself of course) - I guess it upset me. I crawled, I mean crawled to my bed at 1.00pm and slept the deepest sleep, and woke up at 5.00pm like a truck hit me! And that's with me on 150mg Lyrica/day!

Today the sun in shining but I'm limping because of point flare in left knee, and I'm sewing!

Insomnia and pain... yup, great mix. Add in low pressure systems marching thru, temperature changes, along with seasonal allergies and bad hair... (sigh!) Sometimes life stinks! Oh, by the way, we have had a skunk under out window at night digging grubs for a week now. Talk about stink!!!
