Good Morning. I was wondering if any Fibro. patients has tried testosterone
with your treatment. I have been reading about
this, and it looks very helpful!!!

I tried saw palmento which works to amplify testoserone...unfortunately if you are menoposal this
could kick in the symptons into high gear. Man was it nasty.

I have been taking Compounded formula of Testosterone for a few years along with Bi Est/Estrogen. I no it sure helped with the severe anxiety & the emotional roller coaster I was on!

I looked it up online, but it does state that many with very low testosterone develop symptoms of fibromyalgia, and those who have had both ovaries removed (I have) have more FMS.
I recently had my testosterone checked, and it's low, but not hugely low. Interesting concept, I may email the dr who wrote one of the articles and ask what came of the study (done in 2004).

When I had my testosterone checked I didn't have any at all. I get so confused on how to read the results. But mine said negative 8 when the number was supposed to be at least a 16 in the positive? Very interesting to no for sure! I had a hysterectomy when I was 28. I still have 1 ovary.

Your testosterone is low and related to fibro? My recent saliva test shows I have very high testosterone. My dr thinks it may be related to the fibro. He suggested a liver detox to get the testosterone down. I bought a 7 day detox kit and took it one day and got the most excruiating migraine for 3 days. Anyone have a suggestion to get the testosterone down.

Sawa, have your dr order the bloodtest for total and free testosterone. The saliva tests are notoriously unreliable.
I don't think my low T is related to fibro, but related to no ovaries anymore. Although, the fibro got a lot worse after ovary removal...
