So much pain I think I am gonig to cry

So I had 3 wisdom teeth out on Monday, they did the local anestecic and took them out the bottom two had a really tough time coing out. The first couple days i was sore but not to bad, but now the last couple days have been really bad. It is about 3:00 am in the morning adn I Am in excrutiating pain, the pain wakes me at this time every morning now. HOw long is this pain going to last adn it only hurts on one side, the side that the toth was very difficult on.  I am in so much pain right now that I am getting physically sick. Ughhh i just cannot take it anymore!

I had a very similar run when I had my wisdom teeth out. I took one day to recup and then went to work... two days later I could barely move and it took another 3-4 days to feel better. I am guessing by the weekend you should feel better... it shouldn't take more than a week to feel mostly normal again.

I was in pain after a wisdom tooth extraction for a few days. For a couple of weeks after that there was some swelling and it was uncomfortable. My husband was hurting after an extraction and it was because of a dry socket. He would have been in pain for a long time if we didn't get him back to the dentist.

Mouth pain is really tough, hope you feel better soon.

I, too, just had a terrible "oral" experience and it took almost a month, several specialists, three rounds of antibiotics, surgery and 8 days of missed work to get it all under control.

Now I have to get two partial root canals finished and am terrified to do so. But, it has to be done. All this started with an extraction but was not caused by it.

Did you go back to make sure that you are not suffering from dry socket or maybe picked up an infection? If not, I would definately do so. My dentist said, two days out you will have some pain and swelling, if it lasts for more than three days, becomes severe or swells come in. So I did. I believe you should too.

I'm so sorry to hear of this oral pain. Mouth pain is horrible indeed. And I find I'm even more sensitive to any pain with fibro. I hope, like others suggest, that you do contact your dentist to ensure healing is happening, or at least for some soothing, be it drugs or advice. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

U might be infected, and need an antibiotic u would not want it to spread.
