Sore tongue

I do get a sore tongue from time to time. I just never really took much notice I am so used to all the strange things that go with having Fibro.

Yes, I get that sometimes, too. It comes out of the blue and leaves just as suddenly. Who knows why??

I get the sore tongue also and it even swells a little. Mine is usually very sore too. I have found that liquid maalox and liquid benadryl, equal patrs of both. Swish and spit (or swallow)

I have had this feeling of sore tongue/burning mouth for a few months now. The dentist confirmed there is no dental cuase, all my vitamin levels have been tested and normal, no allergy at play - just what is called burning mouth syndrome. While it is more common is women closer to menopause it can happen to anyone. So I just keep hoping it will go away. I find that some days are worse than others and that it gets worse as the day goes on. Sometimes I find that I have to "stretch" my tongue... it's a very strange thing.

Hoping that it will go away soon! Seems like quite a few people with Fibro get this but in all the research I have done I can't figure out why.
