Hi Springsun!
Funny huh--this topic hasn't seen any "action" for quite awhile and now there's two of us within a week responding.
I still wouldn't rule out your pain being related to a sinus infection. I know from experience that some of us need to be on antibiotics for occasionally a month or more before our symptoms subside. (Two months isn't out of the question).
That being said, I too have the forehead and brow pain. I call it a "spasm" usually, but I guess pain is more appropriate. I DON'T have a sinus infection. Fiorinal helps me--even though I can only take it before bedtime, and only want to take it less than two times a week. I've tried hot beanbags, hot ricebags, and frozen corn to the areas without relief. So much for non-medicinal treatments.
Is it fibro? A migraine? Neuralgia? My primary care doc doesn't know, and neither did a neurologist I saw. I'm going to try Botox and/or get acupuncture. I'll try anything at this point. They all seem baffled by my symptoms and yet I've spoken to others that experience the same thing. I'm sure you're just as frustrated...
