Today is the day....UPDATED

To find out if I am dealing with just Fibro or if I have some other form of arthritis going on as well. I was supposed to see my Rheumy on Monday for my follow up appointment but he was sick so they rescheduled me for today. I am pretty sure I have Fibro - but I just don't want to have anything else wrong with me, ya know?

So keep your fingers crossed for me!

And the results were NEGATIVE! Yay! No Lupus and no RA! I am so very relieved over this! Even my B12 was normal.....happy dance! I still have the Fibro diagnosis though but I can handle that :)

Sherry, just out of curiosity, what do they consider to be a normal for you with the b-12.?? My doctor wants mine to be between 700-900. My lows have been 211,209,277. I am currently getting shots but haven't had blood work to see where it is now. They (and I, of course) have learned that several months after I stop the shots the numbers go back down again - so, I will need them the rest of my life.

Yes, you all are wonderful! I have had the yo yo diagnosis of Fibro for years and whenever I had a question about it, I would post on here and I got nothing but positive posts. Thank you all so much!

LOL Well......saying just as in not Lupus or RA...I definitely don't need to add THAT diagnosis to the mix. The way I figured it is, I obviously have had this for a long time. I've done well over the years...pain sure, but there are just some things you get used to. Sort of like a tooth ache over time you tend to ignore it until it becomes unbearable. That is how this got, which is why I finally broke down and went to the Rheumy again. But add Fibro to Ulcerative colitis and that is when the handbag of goodies go haywire! So I can truthfully say "just" because right now my Uc is in remission (yay!). So now I have "just" Fibro to deal with :) .......oh wait, that is not true, I forgot that I got diagnosed with diverticulosis yesterday - but if I just watch what I eat, things should be good on that front!

I do 'get' what you are saying and I too would be terrified if I had the possibility of those other maladies. Fibro is no picnic...in fact it's miserable but you already know that. I too have UC but it's at bay also so I am very grateful for that one too. Take care and always ask questions...you know the drill.
