Hi everyone...

Tonight my major issue is my skin. There was one area on my inner thigh that felt like it was rubbed raw. When looking at it, no redness, etc. Then, I noticed that when my clothing would rub against my skin (especially the lower half of my body), it felt like it was giving me a mild rug burn. Very odd AND ouchy!

Otherwise, having a pretty good day. Hope everyone else can say the same!

I have had the same experience but usually on my arms! It's very strange and very bothersome. I my clothes lay on my arms it would give me that feeling of mild rug burn. That's a good way to describe. Oh the wonderful annoyances of Fibro!

One of the things that I did about the skin burning was to buy jersey knit sheets for my bed. The skin burning thing was part of one of the reasons that I couldn't sleep at night and the second that I put the jersey knit sheets on my bed, I started being able to sleep a little better. Also, when my skin is burning, the first thing I do if I'm home is change into really soft clothes. My skin definitely feels better when I have soft clothes on. Hope this helps a little! The skin burning/rubbing off thing has been a problem for me for years - it's super hard to deal with at times.

Thanks everyone!

The burning/raw feeling is currently isolated to the upper thigh and lower hip area of my left leg. Travels a tad into the folds of the groin as well. Really weird. Raw on top, but feels ever so slightly bruised underneath. I will try the knit sheets for sure! I actually have a set and am going to pull them out to see if it helps to soothe this. My first time with the crazy raw skin thing.
