We have so much to deal with having Fibro, it can be overwhelming at times.  But sometimes to make it through we reallly have to focus on the positives.

My gratitudes for the day:

I got a pair of awsome comfortable walking shoes that were originally $80 for $8.50!!!!!!!!!!

The Ospreys have returned for the spring and summer :-)

Today the air felt a little warm.

I have a car that runs, a steady job and a home to go back to.

I have wonderful friends and family in my life who I can share the good and the bad with.

I'm reading a good book.

What are you grateful for??? cool

I'm grateful that I'm alive!

I have two good eyes to see all the neat stuff around me.

I have three wonderful children to love and who love me.

I have the most wonderful dog and two great cats that keep me company.

I have good friends that are there when I need them.

My pool is almost warm enough to get into.  Yipee!

My pap test is over for another year!   yeah

I, too, have a lovely home and a great car to drive.

 

Gee, I could go on and on and on.....I am so thankful for so many things because it's more than many people on this earth have.  So, I think I'll stop here.  Great thread, Sue!

Great thread!!!

I have so much to be grateful for too. I have a roof over my head, and food on the table. I have a wonderful husband and two wonderful dogs. Not to mention the kids and grandkids (who I get to make Easter baskets for). I am also grateful that my pap test is over and my mammogram. Still waiting on results from the mammogram, but I am sure that they will be normal. I am grateful for the warmer weather and all the wonderful creatures that come out with it. Also that my husband is buying me a new computer. For that I feel spoiled. But I am going to gracefully accept it. That is the extra cherry on top. My computer is from 2002. lol... I guess I am very grateful for a lot of things. One more thing, I am grateful for the snow to be leaving so that I am able to walk. It has been nice out there.

I am sure that there are many more things. But I too will stop now. I hope that all of you had a wonderful, painfree day. As much as possible.

Above and beyond the usual such as many of the things mentioned like a roof over my head and many other things....I am grateful today for

I worked at the office 7 hours
came home cooked dinner
did 3 loads of laundry
brushed out one dog (tons of hair)
and I am not ready to fall over............

I think it might be the 5 prednisones I took for my back, taper pack for 5 days PLUS my back is not killing me for now

You do so much. I don't know how you do it, but I am happy to know that you have the ability to do so. Sorry I lost you on chat last night. I think it was you I was chatting with. My side just stopped so I logged off. But it was nice while it lasted. I hope that you have a good day. I think I am going to go look for that new computer. I am so excited about it.

I am grateful that I'm still walking!!! woohhoooooo!  and grateful that I am feeling better! yeah

for my Hubby, my dog Sonny, my children and grandchildren. grateful for this forum and to you Sherrine because you encourage me so much!!!

I too have a beautiful home, gorgeous view, car, but I am most of all grateful to God who continues to bless me and helps me to grow up in HIM!!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful pain free week!!

Great thread! Thank you - Needed this this morning.

I am grateful to have food on my plate every day when so many don't. I'm grateful to live in this country even as messed up as it is sometimes. I'm grateful for the pellet stove pumping heat into the house since it's 23 degrees out this Spring morning and the orchard fans are pounding away in the pear orchards. I'm grateful that I know my pain pills will start working sometime here soon and these hours will be over. I'm hugely grateful there is already protective film over the glass in all those little windows on the french doors we need to paint. Also very glad H has and knows how to use a paint sprayer :). I'm glad it's going to be sunny. I'm grateful for my home, for my H, for the kitties who warm my bed at night and snuggle with me during the day. Feeling very blessed this morning sitting here sipping my decaf. It's a beautiful day :)

I am grateful that I just have "fibro", at least most days anyway.
I am grateful that I am cancer free.
I am grateful that I have a really large family and lots of support/love.
I am grateful for my wonderful hubby.
I am grateful for a full time job that has no stress and that allows me to move around or sit as I please.
I am grateful for this forum where I have found many friends, tips, and suggestions.
I am grateful that I have a roof over my head, food on my table, hot water to soak in and a good vehicle to get me where I need to go.

And I am grateful that I have God, the one that gave me all these things to be grateful for.


I hope everyones day ends much better than it started.

This thread makes me smile! Such a good reminder that every day there are lots of things to stay positive about, which is what keeps me going on my "bad days".
Today I looked out my window and even though it was raining, which hurts my knees, I saw daffodils right under my window.
Then I looked at pictures of my cat and was happy to think that in just a few weeks I will go home and see her soon! My wonderful therapy pet.
Today I was also grateful for having all my homework done early so now I can get ready for bed!

Today I am grateful that I have an extended warranty on my car, because the transmission went last night. I am also glad for my beautiful neon green umbrella, which kept me from getting wet this morning. :)

I am thankful for my hubby who supports me in everything.
I am thankful for the warmer weather which has made me feel much better.
I am thankful for the singing birds that I heard this morning.
I am thankful for my kitty Scarlett who sleeps on my head every night.

4/14/11.............I am grateful for the sunshine today.  I worked 6 hours came home and transplanted a few different veggies that I started from seed to bigger pots (4 inch).  Picked up some sticks in the yard, we will use them for kindling.

Cleaned uo a little more of my flower beds, mixed up a batch of soil for my veggies,

And the biggest thing is the phone call that the NEW mattress is coming tomorrow!!!! 

I have found that when I get these bursts I get more of the piddling little things done.......those things that you look at and say "I should do this or that" and keep on walking.  So I got some stupid little crap done.

Oh yea, I got the first quarter payroll taxes done, now just need to find the money to pay them  LOL.  I also got sept & oct banking entered into quickbooks..........only 2 more months and 2010 is done!!

I am grateful that my brother is now cancer free. We just lost our Dad to cancer in December but my brother got the miracle we prayed for.
