Wow! Didn't take my walker, didn't want to draw attention to myself, too much standing, too much walking on lumpy ground, out in the cold, too many handshakes, wrong kinds of food, and piles of emotionally draining sad stuff. I feel like if I had a wooden leg I'd be "Poop on a stick!" If I had the time I'd have a hot Calgon bath to take me away... but it's back to the bakery and on to wedding cake land! Sometimes fibro stinks!.... WAIT... It ALWAYS stinks!

I am sorry for all that you have had to go through. But you made it. I hope that the flare subsides. Enjoy doing your cakes. You are so wonderful at that.

I'm so sorry you're have had such a hard time lately, all the way around. And yep, it always stinks. I wish I had some encouraging words. Sending big cyber hugs your way.

Oh yuck, 2 funerals. After my sister got killed in a car wreck in 1984 I had a really, really hard time paying my respects. I am still uncomfortable but I go.

Sounds like you work in a bakery and at this time you are doing wedding cakes............from one end of the spectrum to the other. No gray area, at least the wedding cake making would lift my spirits as they are so beautifuf and have great meaning.

Hi Jeannie,

Sorry for your losses...

I've done similar things to myself. It seems that any event throws me off; between the different food and exhaustion from being so active. Not wanting to bring a walker to a funeral makes sense. This weekend we are taking my son somewhere fun, where there is a lot of walking and standing in place. I'm determined to use my seat cane, no matter how bad I feel about it. Hope you feel better soon.

Aw...Jeannie.  I'm sorry  you have gone through all of that.  It is hard and the stress just makes out pain worse.  But I hope you are feeling better now.
