Dizziness Anyone?

Yes, sometimes my muscles do not feel like they are cooperating or fully working.  So I do feel like I am stumbling a bit and walking with clunky feet.

Hi, Uh, uh, and welcome!  I'm glad you found us and joined in.  Well, I haven't heard of anyone being that dizzy for a while.  Have you had your blood pressure checked or your ears checked.  These can cause dizziness.  I know I'd definitely be seeing my doctor if I were having this problem.  If you go to your doctor, let us know what they say.

I have dizziness, stumbling, falling over for no reason, etc., too. Once your doc has ruled out other things which cause dizziness (heart insufficiency, low blood pressure, infection, etc.), mine finally sent me to an ear, nose & throat guy where, by the way, they don't let you use the word 'dizzy.' Anyway, they can test for it. I couldn't even make it through the whole test. Turns out both my eyes try to be dominate. I had to actually quite driving for a while and went to dizzy rehab for 6 months where I learned exercises that retrain your brain and distraction techniques so if I realize I'm going there, I can do that to get rid of it. Honestly, there are lanes I cannot be in, passenger or driver, through town because they tilt one way or the other. My h cannot walk slightly ahead of me in a store. There are all kinds of little things that can effect you but you don't know that until somebody shows you. Another consideration is trp's in the muscles coming down your neck. You can always try massaging (usually rubbing downward for me anyway) the big honkers that come down from under your ear to the little 'v' at your neck. We have to remember that a lot of Fibro is miscommunication between body and brain plus overload from all the other input our brains feel they need to pay attention to so when it comes to stumbling, our spacial stuff is all screwed up. I also was checked for epilepsy which I don't have but what did show up was two certain frequencies of flickering light will make me dizzy immediately. We have to keep the sunroof closed in the car cuz the sun flickering through overhead power lines is enough to set it off if the angle of the sun is right.

Another thought is ataxia.  Myself, I have gluten ataxia, which means if I get glutened, I lose my balance and experience what you are talking about.  Here is a link:
