Happy Mothers Day to all the wonderful Moms yeah

 

 

In the middle of the night, a baby cries

A mother wakes from sleep and sighs

 

She goes to the side of her baby's bed

lifts her child and cradles his head

 

The mother is tired and in need of rest

Her baby is hungry and will feed at her breast

 

Together they sit in a worn rocking chair

Baby recieves his mom's loving care

...a love eternal...a love always there

Robin, What a creative mind you have, and what a gentle soul! Your mother brought a wonderful child into this world. Tell her 'Thank You' for me, please.

This is a hard weekend.  I'm trying to focus on good memories, but we are all feeling the loss. Nothing is the same.

I do hope all of our ladies have a wonderful Mother's Day, w/ their mothers, their children, and their memories.

Once again, a beautiful poem.  My mom was the best and I miss her dearly.  I know all our mothers who have passed are with us today.
