Pain under armpits

Hi everyone well my flare continues, now apart from the leg, knee and foot pain my shoulders have deceided to join in, today I have had pain under my armpits anyone else had this very odd? Also had a crawly feeling on the tops of my thighs but that could be a menopause thing....oh to be pain free for one day.. Soon I hope shocked

I have had shoulder pain that somehow seemed to be radiating from or towards the armpits. One on the many merry joys of Fibro i suppose, ignore my sarcasm :)
As for beeing pain free, sad enogh thats a rarity amongst us suffers and the whole reason that we take it one step at a time. I hope your flare gives up and buggers off sooner rather than later, i know how after a few days u start going just a tad bit crazy, i know i do :)

Hi Shanny,

You have glands under your armpits that will swell up and cause pain. Mine do that from time to time too. Raise your arms up and feel for a lump under your armpit. I went to the doctor thinking that I had breast cancer but that was all it was. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks guys, well the pain has gone overnight...figures now my arches ofvmy feet are aching...mind you it's only 2. Degrees here so it's cold I think I need to move somewhere warmer..... Best wishes to you all

You should have that crawly feeling looked into. Mine wasn't bad the begin with, I am now in my 2nd flare up from it and it doesn't stop. Don't let that go if it continues. What doesn't seem bad right now could get insane.

I have had this too and I too thought I had breast cancer especially when my pcp said I had some thickening so I had a mamogram and it came out clear,the tech said the thickening was probably from wearing wire bras,got rid of them.
