Good book

I am reading an excellent book right now. I thought I would share it with you. It 's called real life by Dr. Phil McGraw. It prepares you for the 7 most challenges days of your life. They are loss, fear, adaptability breakdown, mental health, addiction, and existential crises. This goes into getting health crises and how to deal with them. It's very easy to read. I guess what I like about it's everything I experienced in life. It's not a new book. You might of read it already. I have never read his books before but this one is just how you esperience life good or bad. This helps me deal with fibromyalgia better.

@ karen, I have that book. I have had it for over about a year...recently I picked it up again and it is excellent!!

I'll have to see if they have it in my local library. I am always looking for a good book recommendation.

I have thought about getting a kindle, but I like to have the book right in my hand. I like to leaf back and forth and mark pages, and highlight things. Can you do stuff like that with a kindle?

Karen, I think many e-readers give you the ability to highlight and bookmark in books. But it depends on the software.

I love my ereader but I think for any books I really want to have forever, I will stick to the paper version. When they are a tangible entity I feel less likely to lose them, you know? Though I suppose anything can happen to the paper books as well. And I certainly have lost many of my favourites.

I have the Nook Color and love it. It holds an amazing amount of books, is internet
accessable, has numerous applications and my man found a real neat drawing pad
for my grandkids to use for $1.99. The thing is awesome. I gave away 15 very large
boxes of books and downsized to the ones I can't find anywhere in e-book form. The
Nook has an expansion slot for a micro SD card for even more memory. I haven't figured
out how to do it but you can hook it up to your printer. I had a Sony E-Reader and loved
it but it didn't hold enough books. I like the fact it's about the same size as a book and
you "flip" the pages with a flick of your thumb!

That is why I like the "feeling good" book, it helps you with cognative behavioral therapy. It really does make you feel good.

I thought I wanted a nook or a electronic device to read with, but I got an I pad instead. It does it all and more. I got a refurbish one, so the price wasn't that mich difference. I love it and I love to watch netflex on it in bed. I love getting this newspaper called the daily. Endless fun reading. The articles are learning and colorful. Great games, Facebook, e-mail and endless things you can do with it. It's basically a small computer.
