Feeling worse with monthy cycle?

Anyone find that their pain is worse right before their monthly cycle? I mean like the day or two before? Just hormones? My pain is worse, and sometimes I feel sick. It doesn't happen with every cycle, thank goodness.

I think that time of the month makes everything worse. I use to have the worst pms. But I am past that now. Thank Goodness. I hope that you feel better soon.

I don't personally find I have much difference when I am on my period.. just more emotional, LOL. I used to get very severe cramping with my PMS but my birth control pills help with that now!

The pain/stiffness in my neck and the deep ache in my shoulder muscles used to magnify x 10 right before my cycle. Downright wicked!

I get like that as well. ironically my Diarheah and IBS symptoms clear up, where I hold more food in, but other than that I am a mess. I sleep all day, can't move, or I am up all day and hyperactive even at night. I also have so much pain that I push myself, literally to function.

That happened to me before my hysterectomy. Every month it seems my fibro would flare within a day or two before and let up about three days in. A friend of mine with fibro says the same thing, only her pain lasts longer and starts 3-4 days before.
