Fibro and tattoos

Nope, not in my case. I've had Fibro, oh about maybe 15 years now...I just was in denial for so long (I argued with the docs that I didn't have it). But I didn't get my first tat until last year.

No tat here either and I only know one person with fibro who has a small one. I think your massage therapist is jumping to conclusions on this one. Nothing remotely scientific about his 'data', just observations of the people who come to his office for treatment. Personally, with the amount of pain I have, especially in the shoulder, arms, etc. I can't see why I'd want someone sticking needles in me unnecessarily! My own immune system is a bit compromised also and I doubt that a tat would be a wise decision for that reason alone.

No tats here, have had fibro since 1980's.

I don't have any tattoos and won't get any because my husband has been with me long enough to be able to tell me after he got his two tattoos that I wouldn't survive the process because of the pain. Plus I'm not sure that's a big enough trauma to trigger fibro??

No tattoos, although if I got one, it would probably be a "to-do" list form. Just lines, with blank check-it-off boxes. Then could use a water soluble marker on it. THAT would be handy. Just like having my own write-on-wipe-off board. lol!

I've had tattoes for years my first one almost ten years ago by now, my mum who also has fibro however has none whatsoever so i seriously doubt it beeing related. I've had my biggest tattoo yet done when i allready had the fibro-symptoms and allthough i did notice it hurt a bit more then my previous ones but not so much so that it would put me off tattoos, as a matter of fact am allready planning the next one :)
