Not sure how this would work, but I would love to promote a website in regards to a lupus very sick friend I have. I know it cannot be advertised here, but I would like to network her story. It is a life/death situation. Any suggestions? Do you know where I can go so that all of you are aware of her story.  I also posted this on the Lupus site. I am just looking for input and suggestions on this topic.  Thank you.

There IS a website for this kind of thing. I was thinking it was called Healing Bridge, but I just googled it and none of the sites I found are the one I was thinking of. Maybe somebody else knows what I'm trying to remember! It's often used for terminal illnesses, so people can keep up on status, how they can help, etc. I'll keep trying to think of what it was, or maybe I'll find something else.

Here it is (had to ask my friends on Facebook, they came through!) It's http://www.caringbridge.org/ and I'm not sure if it's only for cancer patients or is okay for anyone. See what you think. Hope it helps.

I looked at this site, but this is to create a site of awareness and ask for donations. We have this already. We have created a site, but I know that I cannot promote on the forum and ask for donations, but didn't know if there is another place where I can post our website and ask for assistance. I would post website here for all to view and help, but I know that it is against forum policy. Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend.

Does she have a Facebook page?

I would love to friend her and share it on my page so my friend could learn about this illness and how serious it is.

What is her name so I can friend her if she has FB page? ;)
