You are still you

Sometimes it is possible to feel like we are our conditions. Pain and fatigue can be overwhelming at times. We can not lose our identity...we need to continue to do the things that make us happy. There are things we might have to give up... look at it is an opportunity to explore new things.

At the end of the day, I am still me

I choose who I am. who I want to be

 

I choose to be happy, caring and kind

I want to be strong, both in body and mind

I pray with God's help, these things I will find

 

Even if my body isn't strong physically

At the end of the day, I know I'm still me

Apple...thanks for the compliment...writing is a hobby for me. You like art too...I draw and paint some. I read in a post you work with metal, that's cool.

Patty...it is great to see you, I read that the cymbalta is helping, I'm glad you are getting some relief. Hope you are doing ok with the lupus too.
