So i had my follow up appointment yesterday with the rheumatologist. Told him that the Amitriptyline wasn't realy working for me, that the pain wasn't better in fact was worse and that my sleep is stills as screwed up as can be. He reckons the meds aren't aggresive enough in my case, but for whatever reason he said to stop taking them and he has switched me to Cymbalta 60 Mg.
Took my first pill this monring, made me feel a bit funny but not in a bad way funny. Anyways guess it's gonna take a few days for it al to kick in (or it might just nor kick in like the previous ones, but hey i'm trying to stay positive :) ) Doc dis say with most patients it takes 1 to 2 weeks.
When do you guys take cymbalta, morining or evenings?
Doc told me to first try taking them in the morning, but if i get any bothersome side effects that i could switch to taking it in the evening.
I'll just try it mornings first and see how i feel, but it would be nice to hear bout your experiences :)
Ow and before i forget i did mention my weird 'hands-going-numb-and-weird' episode. Now i'm not good at scientific explanations so i only realy got about half the stuf the doc mentioned, but basically it probably has something to do with to much oxygen going to my limbs and screwing with my nevers. I was told to observe the symptoms if and when they return and to note down when it happens, how long it takes etc.... Just hope it doesn't happen again so i don't have to worry about that any more.
