I've been having double vision for about
3 months but it only happened in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep and would try to watch tv
Then I read CHANGES IN VISUAL ACUITY- impaired function of the smooth muscle used for focus as well as skeletal muscles for tracking-on the forum, and coincidentally started having double vision during the day. I called my ophthalmologist and she verified that fibro can cause visual changes and in my case, my eyes are pointing in different directions. The Dr. said that it could definitely be fibro acting up but she has also ordered blood work to rule out myasthenia gravis. My point to this post is to point out that we just can't assume our symptoms are fibromyalgia. Fibro mimics so many other conditions. I'll let you know how this goes, and as always, thanks for listening. Take Care, Anne
