yet another foggy moment...

I stopped at the grocery this morning, and couldn't find my check card in my purse/wallet. Spent about five minutes at the grocery store searching through my bag, to no avail.

When I got home, I started looking. it was only when I reached for my pill basket that I remembered. I picked up prescriptions Saturday, through the pharmacy drive thru. They always place your card in an envelope and staple it to the bag. I got home, consolidated the new pills with the old ones, and threw away the bags. I had just placed a new trash liner in the kitchen garbage bag.

The pharmacy bags were on the bottom, that being Saturday and this being Tuesday. Egg shells and yolks, lots of veggie peelings, coffee grounds, and paper had to be pawed through, before I found the envelope with my card.

*sigh*. Love my antibiotic hand soap.

Right! It's like when people tell you to always put something in the same place. Great advice, unless you're not aware you're even doing it, which is usually the case with me.

I just ruined a beautiful tea kettle because I turned the burner on and walked away. It ended up stuck to the burner. I thought I always left the little pour-thing down, so it would whistle. But obviously not. I'll have to get one with a spring, that stays down automatically.
