My Body says it's okay to go ahead and confirm with the weatherman that we will get getting snow overnight tonght. I can feel the change in the air and notice alll the change in my body which are being inflicted with stiffness, achiness, and tenderness. I hope we get back to warmer weather soon so I can convert back to how I was feeling last week. It was much easier to get around without the aches and pains that are cropping up today. I hate that my body is a weather vane, because normally it just gives off signs of "bad things to come".

Mine does the same thing! I always laugh when the weatherman says it will not snow..but I can feel it & call it right!
Its below zero.(30 below this am) where I live & I cannot leave the house (seriously!)
I've been asleep for 3 days now & I know I'm flaring but I'm afraid to go outside to get to Dr! Wish they'd prescribe Pred without seeing me. Just gotta get thru weekend & it'll be above zero by Monday!

Close weatherwise - North Dakota
These are probably the worse places we can live w rheumatic conditions! But u live where u have to! Its 30 below w windchill & I am bad off - sleep constantly!

For me it is rain, we do not get snow but we get a lot of rain winter and summer.

Queensland Australia. Friends ask me if the have got it right "Will it rain"

My pain jumps about 3 t0 4 days before it rains then drops off once it rains.

It is snowing right now in Pennsylvania.  My husband gets all excited, "Come see the snow", he says.  No thank you.  I hurt and I have a head cold that is kicking my butt. 

If this shows up twice, forgive me.  I typed it then my laptop said lost internet connection so I typed it again.

we have had snow squalls with lots of wind. I have had an increase in pain the last couple days. Then today it dropped to -30*C this AM, continuing cold through the day then getting a 'little' warmer tonight. BUt there have been patches of blue sky here and there. This is also the best I have felt all week. I came home from work at 1AM, was able to shower and am on here now. All week I could hardly drag myself into the house after the drive home, and forget the shower, I was going to bed.
.... although dh likes that; he says he dreams of chicken wings, lol. One night I'll wake up to him chomping on me ;)

The cold & moisture both do a number on me! I need to live somewhere warm & dry but we want our two elementary kids (4th & 2nd grade) to stay out of trouble & the best place for that is right here in ND! I feel like I have to sacrifice for them -anyone get that?
I'm scared to move bc I grew up in Calif & it took 20 yrs to get the shallowness out.of me!
I've given up my career due to this illness but I've gained my children bc before when I worked, I was the breadwinner & I was gone 10 to 14 hrs a day & never saw my kids! This illness has at least given me a 2nd chance at Motherhood! I don't want to screw it up by moving to...somewhere they would get in trouble! I'd rather just suffer!
Taking higher dose of Pred again - up all night! Ugh!

Sawa, where in PA are you? I should have listened to my body yesterday and stayed in bed. The past 3 days have been awful for me. I love how the 2 to 4 inches turned into 9 inches and stranded me at work.

I'm also in PA, and in 3-4 days before the snow finally hit, I was SO sore EVERYWHERE! I knew we were going to get something. We got almost a foot here where I live in the Poconos. Stay warm everyone, we got a long winter ahead of us! ((hugs)) Fox

BTW: Where are you two located in PA Sawa and jmw?

I'm 30 miles northwest of Harrisburg but I used to spend a lot of time in the Poconos. Its such a beauutiful area. I used to visit my ex in Blakslee.

I want some snow, just a little bit. We haven't had any this winter. :( It's been above normal temperatures around here. Please send some snow my way!

we live on the gulf coast of Mississippi in a rural county and we stay here too cause anything bigger, kids are growing up to early, so I really get that. Kids stil do bad things here, they are teenagers after all but without the hard drugs and violence that we see in bigger towns.

It is warm but so muggy here...moisture just nails my fibro/arthritis and my poor hubby's hands look like balloons this am-lol...maybe arizona, central mexico was perfect weather but don't see moving there any time soon

Oh I can't stand the cold or being cold.  Its foggy, drizzly, and damp here today in arkansas.  It's in the mid 30's and the pressure is dropping.  It's high because they are predicting storms for the evening time.  I to feel much better when the weather is warmer.  Not hot and humid warm, but spring time warm.  When it's in the mid 60's and low 70's that's when I feel my best.  I"ll be so glad when winter is past us.  It hasn't been a snowy winter, but it's been a damp and rainy winter.  I stay wrapped up most of the time like today its so miserable looking outside.  I have no plans to go anywhere today.  I just try and stay warm as best I can.

I'm in Hanover, Pennsylvania. We only got a couple of inches of snow this time but then it was covered with ice.

jmw....Blakeslee is about 5 minutes from me. I'm in Effort, so if I just head up the big hill on 115 i'm there. My sister-in-law used to live there in Sierra View.

sawa....So you're right near Bethlehem area? I grew up in Easton....such a small world..... ;)
