I couldn't find this in fibro 101, but does anyone run a low grade fever?  I've been running 99.1-100.4.  Then one night I checked it and it was 97.1.   I feel terrible today and didn't sleep well at all last night and I have 99.6 temp.

Hello:  I don't usually but I have run across many posts in which others have sad that they do run a fever.  Sorry, I'm not much help!

If I run myself down, I run a low grade fever at the drop of a hat, only for a day though usually.

I generally have a lower body temperature than the norm.

Do you take any medications? I usually run a lower temperature but then I do get random low grade fevers, and hot flashes. Im only 26. This is from my medication though.

yes...There was a thread on this a couple of months ago...it was "common" in that thread.

yes, it is common for me to have low grade fever, I can tell if it is from my acid reflux meds (low grade fever is one of the many side effects of acid reducer meds). And I can certainly tell if it is from my fibro because it would feel like I am going down with flu but it would only last a day, then recur after several days or weeks. The last time I visited my doc I mentioned this to her, but when the test results came back it was negative for any infection.

Oddly enough, my body temperature varies from hour to hour!

I've run a low grade temperature for many years. I was told that allergies can play a part in that.

My body temperature runs 97.6, 97.7, or 97.8 all the time. I usually don't even get a higher temp with a sinus infection which I have been having frequently this winter. Maybe you have an infection.
