cymbalta and lyrica does anyone take both?

Hi I have been taking cymbalta 60 mg and am in alot of pain so my pain doctor recommended lyrica and I have just started them. i have only taken 2 lyrica and I am sweating like crazy. When I say sweat I don't mean a little moisture here I mean if I continue like this I could fill a bathtub sweat is just rolling off me. Its still too soon to see if these will benefit me and I paid almost 250. for them so I would hate to stop. I hate wasting money we don't have it to waste I used mortgage money to buy this. Hoping for some relief, any idea how to stop my womanmade shower??

I know I am also menopausal so I work even harder to maintain a pleasant attitude but in honesty this is getting harder and harder to do. I am exhausted I got up at 8 and 2 hours later ready for a nap.Gotta go my eyes are closing so nappy time, talk to you all soon.

I think my body is starting to accept this new medication, the extra sweats have stopped and I actually had a little more energy today unfortunately when this happens I overdo things and tonight I am in major pain. Darn it

I have taken Lyrica alone and Cymbalta alone, but never both. I went from Lyrica which caused blury vision to Cymbalta. Cymbalta was very addictive and just made me feel out of control. Gradually took myself off of it and went back to Lyrica, which I have now gone off of too. I just had surgery for large hiatal hernia. Also suffered from serious sweats, and shortness of breath (from hernia) we think. My stomach was up in lung cavity. So once I recover from surgery will be some time I understand, I will take a reading and decide where to go from there. Pain is tough, as well as mental stuff. But have to take these things one at a time. As you all seem to know, multiple problems make it difficult (read that almost impossible) to figure out what is causing what and how to help what....

By the way Cymbalta was very difficult to get off of for me anyway. Will never go back on it.

I just started on Cymbalta yesterday. I am a little nervous about it because I have had issues with this class of drugs in the past. Years ago I was on Paxil and had a heck of a time getting off of it! I am desperate for some pain relief and a better state of mind so I am going to give it a try.
