Sassymykitty,
Hi, my name is Linda and I had been diagnosed with endometrial cancer almost two years ago.
I remembered how floored I was. To keep it short, they did a D & C and said everything looked great. A week later, he called and said it was cancerous and I needed surgery. So I went and had surgery, the dr, said all looks great, a week later they called and said the biopsy and washings showed cancer. Well, I was floored. They told me I had a particulary aggressive form of cancer and that I needed to hit it with big guns. I had one shot, cause if it came back I was sunk, so to speak.
I went through extensive chemo and radiation for both inside and outside my body. I am now almost two years, this May, cancer-free.
My advice to you is, don't count your chickens before they are hatched and wait for the report to come back. If it comes back positive, remember my post and that I came through it fine. Oh it wasn't easy, but I did it and if you have to, you will too. I am always here if you need me.
God bless you,
Lindaloo
