New symptoms

Puzzled, How old are you if you dont mind? I thought of something that came to mind, but it wouldn't be an off and on thing everyday. How long has it been going on?

Sugar and aspartame from diet soda and caffiene and wheat (for some people) can do strange things to the body. Also being around cigarette smoke.

Perhaps change what you have for breakfast if it isn't very healthy and see if it helps?

Hey...I also have dizziness in the afternoons and sometimes nausea. I am getting checked for this as it is a relatively new symptom for me. I suffer from chronic migraines but this is not a migraine thing as the headache never comes and it is daily. My doctor put me on Bonine which is a non drowsy motion sickness medicine you can get from most drug stores. It is similar to dramamine but doesn't make you so sleepy. It has worked like a champ for me. I still have problems with blurry vision and light sensitivity is still there but the dizziness is gone which helps me make it through the day.

I would definately see your doctor for this new symptom because it may be something that needs attention. I have researched it alot and there are several things that could be causing it...vertigo, menieres disease, inner ear infection, siezures (epilepsy), vision issue like torn retna or macular degeneration(if you have the vision symptoms with it) or the worst a tumor.

I would check with you doc and maybe try the bonine to see if it helps. I work full time and it has really helped me be able to stay working in the afternoons with less trouble. Every day is a battle to stay working for me.

I get occular migraines, no headache. Just see patterns that move accross from one side of my periferal vision to the other. Takes about 30 minutes for it to pass. Then I feel weak and funny in the head for a little while. Maybe nausea. But only once have I had an actual migraine headache.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try the Bonine next time. No nauseau, just the tingling on the right side, dizziness, and pain in my right eye. I am encouraged by the fact that my vision has not changed and the ophthalmologist did not see any problems with my eye besides the extreme dryness that he is treating. I guess it could be a type of migraine. Sometimes it is followed by numbness down the whole right side of my body, but lately it hasn't. Maybe I need a new neurologist.
