dizziness and low blood pressure

Anna, my blood pressure is somewhat low.  Yesterday at the doctor's office I was 110/62.  I do not take any diuretics or blood pressure medication.  At one time I did.  I weighed more and that raised my blood pressure.  Then I lost the weight but was still taking the medication.  I was becoming so dizzy that I nearly fainted.  They checked my blood pressure and it was 64/30!  They didn't even know how I was walking.

 

If you are taking medication for blood pressure talk to your doctor about this.  Also, anemia can cause dizziness and great fatigue.  I guess what I'm trying to say is bounce this off your doctor.  They know more than we do about this.  Don't blame everything on fibro.  That is a big mistake.

It was the medication causing this for me. Once I was taken off the medication, my blood pressure has been great.

Your most recent blood pressure is low...especially the bottom number. I would call the doctor if I were you. Don't ignore this.

Hugs Sherrine and ak angel i am not taking any perscriptions meds just taking my vitamin d started 4 days ago ,probiotics and i drink ensure daily the vitamin drink to try and help with the weaknesss. Started taking vitamin D,because about one month ago when i was at doc they check my vitamin D and said i was low ,taking probiotics cause i have (GERD) acid reflux disease ,i mention to doc when i was their i thought my blood pressure seem low cause i do take it from time to time and he said yes this is low, but i also was having severe headaches welll he say those were migraines but also i was having sever pains in right side of head even on days i didnt have headache he said i need an MRI due to all the severe headaches and head pain plus i have sister with ms so we did the Mri everything on that came back normal ,but that still does not solve my extreme weakness,dizziness, and low blood pressure and of course i still have the headaches and head pain i am thinking maybe to call him back he is a new doc i have only seen him once but am not sure how educated he is about fibro he did do some blood test CBC and a few others to check for inflamation i guess but those few test came back okay but i am thinking just because CBC and a couple of test for inflamation came back okay does this mean everthing is okay ?

Yes i am going to discuss this with my new docter, but i did research on the docs in our area and this paticular docter in his qualifications did list fibro as one of his special intrest yet he proceded to tell me fibro mainly just causes lots of pain and discomfort in muscles and almost wanted to say oh no fibro causes way more then just pain in muscles cause i am dealing with way more symptoms but anyway i am trying one more appointment with him . I think he was mainly focused on all my issues with migraines and head pain and doing mri but to me he should have known fibro can cause this also.
