Good Morning friends!

I woke up this AM at 4:30 thanks to my darling little daughter.. ugh.. Fell back asleep for about 45 minutes then came downstairs with her to watch sesame street..  I currently on day three of taking Lyrica two times a day, took a Tramadol last night and boy do I feel different this AM.  I am still stiff, but nowhere near what I was experiencing earlier this week.  I do see a nap coming on later as I still only have one eye open..  lol.

Trick for the day, listen to my limitations!!!!  (wish me luck on that)

Hi Amy,

Yes listen to your limitations, and pace yourself. I am glad that you feel better this morning. It sounds like the ultram is working for you and that is fantastic.

I hope that you have a great day. I hope you had fun watching Sasame Street!!! lol...

Glad that you are feeling better, and hope that this continues for you. Sometimes, listening to our limitations can be our hardest task. It is easy to overdo on days when we are feeling our best.

I'm with you on recognizing our limitations. On the other hand, my old doctor believed it was important for me to live my life fully and then he would work with me to treat symptoms. This really helped me become stronger and more active. I was able to continue working for 6 years by doing this. I think I need to work with my new doctor on doing this because we went camping last week and I had a hard time. WE are going to Canada for a three-week camping trip in August and I'm thinking I need to increase either Lyrica or Sevella for a while so I can manage the increased work of being on the move every day.
So very happy that Lyrica is helping you. If you start to have trouble with side affects be sure to work with your doctor instead of quitting. Some symptoms go away eventually and changing dosages can also help. I used to take Cymbalta and had dry mouth for about a year and then it went away.

Amy, what are you on exactly right now?

I'm only taking Hydrocodone, as needed (I only allow myself about 4-5 a month) and had horrible neck/back pain/strain for the last two days and needed to take care of my little one today without my husband's assistance, so I took a Hydrocodone earlier and was able to cope with the pain for most of the day. It started to wear off and now I have a migraine! So now I can't make dinner or do laundry or clean my house. :( I probably need to be on something daily but am worried about side effects affecting me on the job.

Hey Andrea, how old is your little one?

I have been on a few things for the past several months due to depression issues. I am on Celexa (40 mg) and Lunesta (3 mg) Now onto the Fibro. When I was diagnosed, I started Lyrica (75 mg) I am now up to 150 mg (just started the higher dose, so I am experiencing a couple of side effects) and I am taking Ultram for pain as needed. I am having a pretty bad flair up at the moment so the past two evenings I have used Ultram.

Work wise, I am doing ok. The past couple of days I have had to work a half day because of how tired I was. But for the most part, the meds don't interfere with my day at the office.

4 going on 14! The anxiety I have is awful and should probably be on something for that, but again, am worried about side effects. She bounces off the walls and unfortunately, due to how awful I feel, my tolerance level is so low. :(

How is your employer with you taking time off? All the doctors appointments, low energy days, sick days, etc. really add up and it's difficult to find any employer is today's economy that understands. Have you fully disclosed?? I partially did and that was worthless.
