Bad Couple of Days...

Felt decent Saturday... Didn't listen to my "limits" went above and beyond.. Have been paying for it dearly since.  DH couldn't even hug me yesterday to console me.  Today, I called into work and have slept most of the day.  I am dreading a shower.. but know it must be done. 

Sorry for the vent.  blush

Anyway you could bath and forgo the shower? When I am flaring (like now) I used to bath because the spray hurt so much. I hope your flare goes away quickly, I am stuck in mine I cancelled physio and made a dr appt.

Sorry to hear you are flaring...taking a shower my give you some relief...moist heat can help with the achiness, or if you have the time soak in the tub...do some deep breathing, meditate and use visuliation...kind of the Calgon take me away thing....You're probably too young to remember that commercial. :) Hope you get some pain relief soon!

Thanks ladies.. I so long for a tub, all we have are showers in the house. :(

Been an aromatherapy type of day... Its definitely a Calgon day. :)

I know what you mean about feeling good and then acting like the little energizer bunny.

We had company and even though it was hot I went to a rodeo with them. After an hour sitting
on those hard benches I was ready to scream, but since we all went in one car I had to
tough it out.

Today I am soooo tired and frazzled.

The only problem with a bath is needing help up and out lololol. So betimes I really feel like I need more help than an infant :-) Feel better!

Fibro mom I hope your day goes better. The best thing I found to do is listen to music. I try to refocus on something other then my pain. I know easier said then done.

I have those days as well. Since I am newly diagnosed, my husband has difficulty understanding how I can be well one day and sick the next. He tried to be supportive but he gets frustrated. Not sure how to handle this....

Add girl, the best thing for husbands is to show them the things you read on it, let him read fibro 101. Because it can vary hour to hour sometimes.
