Weeelllll, yes and no. I have breast cancer, Mon doc put in my chemo port, and while I was out, he took out a few lymph nodes. They were cancerous. They never bothered me, until he pressed on them lightly. Then I almost went off the table.
I also have confirmed arthritis in that shoulder, so if there was any pain, I guess I thought it was that.
Best to get this checked out. Oh, I just assumed you meant in your arm. Sorry! There are lymph nodes all over your body, where is your pain?

Yeah, I went to my physician last week and he said everything felt fine and he didn't feel any swelling and wasn't concerned about
anything. I've also had several blood tests and everything comes back normal. I was diagnosed with lyme disease many years back and have posted on that forum as well. Someone said for me to look into a lymph massage. I can't tell if it is actually from a lymph node, or just in that general area. Kind of confusing, causing me some anxiety, but I'm trying not to ponder on it too much. Thanks for the input.

Yes. I used to get swollen lymph nodes all the time. Don't think I've had this since my turn around, but if I have, it was minor / short lived.

Yes, I still et swollen lymph nodes. pain Is so bad that it mimics appendix. I take bentyl for it, and it seems to help plus I also try to eat lower gluten then as well. I had to have CTs and MRIs to see my swollen lypmh nodes. Where is it at?

The pain I've noticed seems to be on my iliac crest (top of pelvic bone). They aren't tender to the touch, so I'm really not even sure if its from the lymph nodes. I'm a police officer and wear a duty belt which presses on that spot constantly while I'm working. I hope I'm just looking into it too much. I have Sharp pains in random places but some are near or around lymph nodes, some aren't. It's really hard to explain.

*covers the mods faces with masks* Ok CW, in my beep beep (gotta pretend I'm answering machine) ___ opinion You probably should go back to your doctor, and request a CT Scan. CT's are wonderful.... Swollen Lymph Nodes will show up on it, on top of that, it will show other things like breaks, fractures and more. I highly doubt you broke or fractured that area though, as you are not having any extreme constant pain. Sharp pains in random places usually plays out to be swollen lymph nodes (which does come and go), tweeking a muscle the wrong way, straining a muscle.
Finally CW, I'd like to thank you for your service to your county, to the police force. My brother's (may he rest in peace) dream since childhood was to be a K9 law enforcement officer. He joined the United States ARMY, and got to be a Handler, to his son, Cooper (really a MWD but if you asked him, the four legged kid was his). Unfortunately, they both died in Iraq 5 years 11 days ago from an IED. In fact, you probably heard of it, my brother's and his loyal four legged son death went country wide and reached many different states. Colorado just recently named a dog park after them.
I realized what exactly law enforcement, military does for us after two 21 gun salutes, 2 flags, 2 burials at the same place and time. Not many, especially us that are young (hey I am only 31 and dx'd with fibro) , realize the gift all service men and women so graciously bestow on us, freedom as we know it and safety. World wouldn't be the same without you CW. Thank you so much for your service.

Smurfy, I truly admire your brother's dedication to our country and freedom. Men like him will forever be in my thoughts and prayers. I'm trying to figure this stuff out and have noticed that since taking Xanax daily, the symptoms are less frequent and less severe. I'm not sure if it's because my anxiety level is a little more controlled or if the pain is more controlled, lowering my anxiety. I will continue to keep you and your family in my mind for the loss that you have incurred. Thanks for the support.

Sometimes your anxiety can also trigger pain. A few years back, I had a severe asthma attack. I barely made it into the ER, knew I was seriously needed O2. My luck to be, no one was at the desk, lucky starts, a guy in scrubs saw me looking frantically asked me if I needed help. I handed him my inhaler, then lost consciousness. Anyhow, I was told after I was stabilized, I would of died if I had came in 30 minutes later, and that there was nothing they could of done. That triggered anxiety in me, and I didn't realize it. A week later, I had an asthma attack again, I freaked out, ended up going to the ER again. They discovered that my inhaler wasn't working because I was having an anxiety attack while having an asthma attack. They had to convince me all would be well and I wouldn't die. Its odd what we do in a frantic state, what we hear too. So I personally know what you are going through.
If its swollen lymph nodes, it seriously isn't something big. Its just something that happens off and on. I take benetyl when it hits, as it lowers my pain, and I also limit myself on gluten. It really helps. Its something that isn't harmful, it just happens. Like falling and scraping your knee as a kid.
Thank you for your condolences, I am now an active military supporter - through His and His Four Legged Son's Name
