I can't believe how smoothly it went ! Not trying to jinx myself, but I had the surgery to remove a large molar, with rediculously long, hooked roots, about
8 hours ago, and so far, my pain scale hasn't went above about
a 2 ! Heck, it has hurt me this bad, or worse, every day since Christmas, being cracked to the root, and slightly infected.
Anyway, I did inform the Dr. of my Fibro, but also, about my miraculous turnaround, in the last 34 months.
I had to impress upon him that my last molar extraction {about 5 years ago, and during my worst throws of Fibro / IBS} turned into "the most horrific, painful experience of my entire 40+ years"... Really ! I laid in bed in a fetal postion with a pain scale of 9-10 for 36 hours !
So I had to ask him if my new found health and fitness might possibly help ?
He told me, beyond any shadow of a doubt, yes !
And so far, this seems to have been totally the case.
Barring anything unforseen, infection, etc, I'll be back to hard core workouts in a few days ;) Already itching for it ;)

Ya' know, interestingly, ever since that last horrendous molar extraction, I had blamed it on my abnormally long, hooked roots, thick jawbones, etc, etc.
But now, I have to wonder how much of that was just my Fibro going haywire, and totally adding to the situation ???
Either way, what a major freaking relief !
Peace,
Fish
PS, Here's a couple shots from yesterday at Bodega Bay CA, which you might enjoy :) Went there to kind of clear my head, and refresh the soul... with my operation looming...
