Thank you for all the doctor appt posts today

Smurfshadow, I was dx with CFS, fibro, ddd, hypothyroid and depression in 2001, from what iam reading iam being treated wrong, ie, not on correct meds, not seeing correct dr, i have been seeing my pcp every 3 months and a dr at the pain clinic every month but both dr are doing nothing to help, and i have been seeing both for years!!! I still have ALOT OF PAIN AND AM SO WEAK I CANT EVEN SIT UP, no one has ever come up with a plan for me they just keep giving me pain meds!!!! I want to start over can you tell me how??? Thanks Tina

Tina, What meds are you on? Are you in Oregon? If so, I know a better doctor for you! I am only a caregiver, but I can give you some advice of personal experience. It is against forum rules for me to give medical advice hon. Do you have a rheumy doctor? You said there is nothing the doctors are doing to help... what have they done? I need to fully understand what is going on to give you some ideas of what to do. You said they keep giving you pain meds, how many pain meds are you on? Yes, you can start over, but can you please paint me the full picture so I can give you some help?
