OT...I'm having lung surgery

Robin, you have been on my mind all day.  I am and will continue to pray for a very successful surgery and also great news, too.  I can't wait until you are up and at 'em again.  We love you a lot on this forum.

Wishing you the best. You might do with your cats what I did with one of our Beagles when I had my hysterectomy a couple of years ago. She is usually uncontrollably excited when she is let in and out of her kennel, and loves to jump on people. I surrounded myself with huge, soft pillows, and whenever she was in the room, I would clutch one over my torso in order to protect myself. If she tried to jump onto me, she would bounce off the soft pillow, and neither of us got hurt!
