Hi everyone, sorry its been a long time between posts rolleyes   but before i say anything more i would  like to wish the best to the 2 strong women battling cancer, my father also has cancer so i wish u the best and much love xxxx.

I have had the worst month, beside the hardest which has been watching my father start to slip away, then i got the worst flu ever.......how do you fibromites go recovering from the flu?????? its been 2 weeks and i still hurt so bad all over, is that a comon fibro thing? And then i get a call in to say my colonoscopy and enoscopy (sorry for the spelling) got moved up to today, i have been having ibs problems for so long know that the are giving it the full monty.. tongue   So i just wanted to tell you all whats been happening, but to tell you all the truth i have been a bit down and now starting to feel a bit nervious.................I love all the postitve thoughts this forums projects that i will be greatful for any my way............i know us assies are in a different time frame so by the time you read this i would of already gone through it, but hey better late than never wink

1st off good luck with your procedures wishing you a fast recovery! 2nd sorry for your father, cancer is never an easy thing to deal with let alone process! My prayers are with you and your family. As far as my experience with the flu I too seem to take a little while longer to recover. It could be because we're laying down a lot and not moving our bodies around and having the flu does put stress on us and our bodies which doesnt help the fibro. I would try to get up and move a little more if your not, do light stretches and get lots of vitamin C. Hope you feel better soon! Sending best wishes and prayers from Omaha, Nebraska!!

sorry i should of posted that last post here, still a bit out of it from the aesthetic.........thanks TeresaMarie for your kind words, it ment alot to me. I have never recieved many replies whenever i have posted, i know the time differance dosent help but i think there are other aussies hear, so i hope its not me because then i will really get a complex........ the fact i have been very alone latley, i have lost alot of old friends, which has made me feel quite blue since my father is dying and there is no one here in my small home town that i can count on (its not all sad, my best friend lives 400 km away). Sorry for the bummer, but my dh doesent nead to hear this everyday....

Hugs Azumi - a fellow Aussiemite here :) Hope your surgerys went ok today, youre braver than me, i cant bear the thought of going under a GA and have a panic attack.

Lately i have been getting sick a lot, with tonsilitis, and i always seem to pick up colds, thankfully i dont get flu too often because when i do i get it really bad. Takes me forever to get over.

I am sorry to hear about your father, and pray you can spend some quality time with him, *touch wood* ive never had a family member that sick, so i dont know what its like. Your welcome to message me whenever you like, however i am new to having fibro so i wont have any answers in regards to that.
