Hey everyone:) I was wondering if anyone has experienced having blue toes and blue on the bottom of their feet right under the toes? Was wondering if this was a fibro issue or my neuro dr thinks it may be my iron being low. Ive had a vascular study done and it was normal. I also feel like the bottom of my feet are on fire. They said my vitamin d is very low too...and of course this fibro mess.

Was wondering if anyone else has this going on also??

They will probably give you prescription D3 to get your levels up. I take 5000iu a day of it. Usually 2000, but my D3 was low too. Could the blue be circulation?

I hope you figure it out soon.

Hi, Seashell, and welcome!  I've never heard of this with fibro.  I think you probably have something else going on.  I'm glad your doctor is being thorough and I'm sure they will get to the bottom of this.  Let us know what you do find out.

 

Be sure to read Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum.  There are links to good info about fibro and you will learn a lot there.  We do have to be our own advocates with this illness.

Hey getting by...yeah they put me on 50,000 units for my vitamin d. thank you for responding:)

And thank you Sherrine also for your reply. Ive been trying to read as much as i can about all this.

Sometimes I feel like i cant hardly walk sometimes. Im having a bad day today...been alittle emotional and trying so hard to control it cry You all on here have really helped me with this pain. And im so thankful

they are people that understand this. Im knew about the fibro...Dr's told me that this pain ive had for over a year was this, along with the low vitamin d and maybe iron problems. oh and osteoarthitis.

I cant think right what i want to say...im sorry.

Boy, you are right on the ball Allicat!  Yes, it could be something like this.  I just didn't think about this one.  I was thinking about fibro.  shakehead    Great job!

Hey Allicat!!! Yeah the dr did mention the raynaud's but then she was explaining that it most often occurs in the hands. And i have seen it in my hands. This happens in my feet if im outside in the heat...but my feet are freezing but the bottom of my feet feel like they're on fire. I just dont get it. I sure wish this all would go away...but I know everyone wishes it also:)

Oh yeah.....I wanted to ask one more question?? My doc put me on a new medicine to try...its called Clonazepam .5 mg. Have any of you taken this and has it helped you? She gave it to me mainly to try and get some sleep. Ive been on it for 3 days and take one at night before bed. I still wake up though cause of the pain so i dunno if its helping much yet. Just wondered if you all have took it.
