Lost my purse!

My awesome husband took me out for our anniversary last night, oh it was such a nice evening! Dinner and a movie in "the city" followed by a quick stop to the gas station then Target LOL for household stuff before heading home. We really had a nice time together though! It wasn't until we got home and I got out of the car that I realized I didn't have my purse. 11pm we are both out in the car looking under seats, got flashlights out.... no purse! As soon as I dropped the girls off at school this morning I head back into the city to retrace our steps. I stopped at each and every place we went, explained that I'd lost my purse, offered a $1,000 no questions asked reward. Not a single phone call in the 6 hours since I did this. :( So I'm missing my $400 Coach purse that I just flipping bought 2 weeks ago, my checkbook, credit cards, about $100 in cash AND my hydrocodone prescription. :-( All I can say is !*$*)(@*)*&)(@. Bank has been called, credit cards are deactivated. Put a call into my rheumy (who I looooooove) and hopefully he will help me out with my rx. If not, I'm screwed until the 18th.

I just wish someone would be honest and return my purse to me!! This is such a hassle!!

Oh, that's too bad! You've done everything you can, so nothing you can do but sit tight and hope. Fingers crossed for you.

I'm sorry to hear that you lost your purse. I have left mine several places in the past, but always had it returned. I finally stopped carrying one several years ago, because I was afraid of it possibly being stolen or credit cards being taken in these situations.

My rheumy replaced my medication! Yay!! All my cards are deactivated and my bank account has been protected so we aren't financially responsible if anyone tries to write a check. I hate loosing the items and also feel sort of like I've lost some of my privacy, but in the grand scheme of things a purse and it's contents are not as valuable as my children or my family.
