Nicole- welcome! I have read that they believe that fibro sometimes comes from an injury or a trauma. Mine happen after having a severe neck injury. It took years to figure out what was going on because I was blaming all my problems from my neck injury. I thought the surgeon mess up doing my neck. I had scans after scans looking for answers. It was this site where I figured it all out. It was like a light bulb that turned on. I feel very blessed to come across this site. Maybe this will be a life changer for you to.
As I read other post It started to make sense. I am not sure if you have a good fibro regimine going yet? This is a good place to learn and start. Just remember we all react different to treatments and meds. Some work well for others and some don't. I finally am feeling fairly good now. It has taken some trial and error, but all worth it.
I have went down the medicine route, but got no where. So now I treat my fibro mostly natural ways except for pain control. I do take subutex for pain. It has been my life saver. It 's not for everybody, but works well for me.
I hope you continue to visit. I got a good book on Fibromalgia and I could see myself in each page. My Dr's never shared most what I read from the book. My depression is gone and my anxiety is on the side line I found out. Lol Feel free to ask questions.
