I've gotten them when I'm in a bad flare. They pass quickly so I just give if a sec and keep on trucking. Are you having these often? If so I'd keep trying to make your doctor understand that you are experiencing nerve pains in your limbs. Sometimes terming it nerve (which sharp stabbey pains normally are) may make them understand. I'm sorry they aren't listening.

That's the great thing about this place. There's so many wonderfully supportive people. Even when our doctors aren't as helpful as we'd like we can always come here for help.

Angelic, I think this place as been more of a help with letting me know what I feel is just part of it. I would ran to the doctor or call him about every new thing. He would ran test or whatever but never once would he say that it is a common thing with fibro. I went to a few doctor (like many here) then I found doc. who is treating me for fibro cause he said that is whet thought I have. The med. Have help . I have looked fibro.101 bunch cause I can remember anything. I have to use my mobile to sent alarm to remind me of my meds. and many another thing. I few night I forget about cooking supper. It scares me sometime, I worry something else might be wrong. Now when I feel this way I ask y'all instead of calling doc.

Almost, that is the problem with meds. sometime I don't know if it's them or fibro. :( but I'm very thankful I'm not in bed all the time with pain and major depression like I was before I found that doctor. I'm not pain free but I can somewhat do not like I would like. I'll write that drugs.com down some I'll remember it. I'm thankful for y'all here, too. You guys help a lot. I don't post long post most of the time I have problems with it ..where it makes it hard & very time consuming. Hope you both have a good day. :)

I've done that also. It was over the phone so I went to get mail with our address on it. There no telling what the person on the phone thought. If I let it get to me it seem to be worse. Which it does a lot, I have anixity problem, too.
