Hi, RockOn, and welcome! You have already gotten great info from our members. There is one thing I do want to mention though. That is, if you sit or lay too long, you will be stiff as a board and have more pain. I know the fatigue can be bad but try resting for a few minutes or taking a cat nap. Going back to bed and staying there all day isn't helping with your pain at all. You need to keep moving.
Walking is good and I know after a walk, I have more energy. I know. It doesn't make sense but I'm not the only one that has that experience.
My best time is in the morning so I schedule any errands or appointments for that time. After lunch, I fizzle out. I will do easy things then like reading, using the iPad, etc. I'm still getting things done but I'm not as active as in the morning AND I keep getting up and walking around about every half an hour. I might put some dishes in the dishwasher, take my puppy outside, put clothes in the washer, etc.
I use malic acid/magnesium supplements and vitamin D3 supplements to help with fatigue, too.
Be sure to read Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum. There are links to good info about fibro and you will learn a lot there. There are links about the supplements I just mentioned and how they work in the body. Some on this forum have had good success with these too. You do have to try things to see what will work for you because what works for one doesn't necessarily work for another with fibro. Guess that would be too easy, huh?
I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. Don't hesitate to ask questions because we are here to help you. Hope to hear more from you soon.
