Thank u sherrine and mrs bugzy, ill read fibro 101, i did go to a neurologist last wk he confirmed the fibro dx and told me that his MA thesis was on MS and that the typical presentation of that disease is vision troubles at my age, im still worried coz as y said there were no tests done and my leg is getting more cramped in the thigh, knee and shins and the aches are still there. He said that the new trend is to treat fibro with antidepressants and he gave me one called ixel and he also put me on Lyrica, ive been using them for 3 days now, i know it's not long enough to judge but still i wish i could see some progresss. The doctor said i should try the medicine and relaxation for 2wks and then we can talk, he only ordered an xray as i had a herniated disc before and he wanted to see how my back is doing.
I know sherrine that some people with. MS lead a full life, however the images of bedridden people, and people on wheelchairs with head supports, makes me welcome fibro as the lesser evil.
I am egyptain , and i tried explaining abt fibro to people here, and all i get is empty stares and some sympathy and pity, but still that
would be better than trying to explaon abt MS.
Thank u both for taking the time to answer me i do feel better
knowing that there r people out there who Know what Im talking about
and can share my fears.
