Anyone get painful muscle cramps at times? They can happen in the abdomen or shoulder during regular activities. I've also had them in my neck for like no reason. Anyone?

Yes, I can get cramping in my legs and feet. I found that taking extra calcium helped me. You might be low on potassium and that causes cramping and the same goes for magnesium. I take magnesium and I get my potassium from potatoes, bananas, and even tea.

If this continues, it's best to let your doctor know.

No I get a lot of potassium from diet. I just wondered if the odd cramps anywhere on the body was part of a flare? I take Calcium w/magnesium along with a multivitamin.

I just call it a sudden OW!

It will hurt for a few minutes then fade away.

 yes I  had them in my stomach  on and off  yesterday  and then last night in the backs of my legs

 Today I have got them in my hands and yes it is OW smhair

So it is generally part of fibromyalgia? I'm still trying to figure things out. I've never had this happen to me years ago before I had FM.

I get cramps in lots of my muscles. Usually with a flare I have lots of things going on besides just muscle cramps. The fibro 101 that is stickied at the top of the forum would be a great resource. It lists many different symptoms that are associated with fibromyalgia.
