These neurotransmitters are important for way more than just depression.

Anyway, the supplement is called Serotune and it contains:
- L-Theanine (100mg) which is building block for norepinephrine
- 5-HTP (100mg) which is the building block for serotonin
- L-Tyrosine (300mg) which is a building block for dopamine
The main risk here is potential drug interactions, so if you are taking any prescript
ion drugs, especially antidepressants, it's important to talk to a competent health care practitioner first. I say competent because some doctors are just anti-supplements and/or do not know much about
them and will be over-cautious or under-cautious.
I take L-Phenylalanine and 5-HTP. I don't notice much from the 5-HTP but I do notice a difference from the L-Phenylalanine. It's good to take 5-HTP if you take L-Tyrosine or L-Phenylalanine though, to help balance things out basically.
L-Theanine is not a building block for norepinephrine.
Personally I like to have each supplement separately so I can adjust the dose of each individually, and also so if I get a side effect from one I can figure out which one it is.
