Mary, I have not been scared of ALS because I trust my doctor and trust his diagnosis. He was right since I've had fibro for decades and haven't developed anything remotely similar to ALS. Holly, I do understand why Debbie would be concerned since her father had ALS, but if you are worried because you read it on the Internet, try to trust your doctors. You have had several learned opinions.
Mary, your Lyrica could be causing this. Some side effects of this drug are "trembling and other problems with muscle control or coordination" and "muscle twitching or jerking". Here is the list of side effects.

Holly, you are letting fear run your life. If you've seen two neurologists and your GP several times and they say you don't have ALS...then believe them. Stop reading on the Internet. If I read on the Internet all the symptoms I have, I'd think I had one foot in the grave! You can't live your life like that.
Here are a couple of good quotes that might help both of you and other members, too. The Roman philosopher Seneca sayd, "We are more often frightened than hurt, and we suffer more from imagination than from reality." How true that is! Another person, Eckhart Tolle, wrote in his book "The Power of Now: A Guide to Spititual Enlightenment": "The psychological condition of fear is divorced from any concrete and true immediate danger. It comes in many forms: unease, worry, anxiety, nervousness, tension, dread, phobia, and so on. This kind of psychological fear is always of something that might happen, not of something that is happening now."
Both these quotes I got from the Save Our Bones program that I'm on for osteoporosis but they sure hit home for this forum, too. We can't live in fear. We would be miserable all of the time.
