Some medications can cause more pain. It might be worth looking up.
Meanwhile, in Fibro 101, there are stretching exercises that are done sitting down. These are great for desk jobs like yours. You can print them out and keep them with you. You can be doing some while working and no one will know the difference. This will help keep the movement going, the blood flowing, and hopefully help with your pain.
You don't need to tell anyone how you are feeling. It won't make you feel better and could make you feel worse if they look at you like you have two heads. I don't talk about my pain to others.
