My body needs a tune-up or a complete overhaul

I wish there was a body shop for humans...there are more than a few parts that could use a tune-up and other parts could use a complete overhaul. My 61 year old model is getting harder to start each morning and I seem to need more additives. Some days, I can not go the distance and have problems with stalling. There are those days where I feel the need to get balanced too. Just getting clean and polished takes works. They say life is a highway...I need to find some new pavement...been hitting too many potholes lately. turn

My back is out and I've been screeching...hoping everything will be aligned by Friday. I'm flying to Wisconsin for a week. Thank goodness for painkillers and muscle relaxers. I'm ready to blow my horn!

I've thought about it so often since being diagnosed with fibro. How can I reboot my brain. Anybody out there who knows how to reboot your brain? If its all in the mind surely a positive reboot will help. Well its not all in the mind pain and I for one wish somebody can come up with a concrete solution to all of this pain. It just isnt normal. Im 37 and I envy 80 year old people that move without much effort because every move I make hurts like crazy. Something should be able to help, surely!

I think I need a few parts replaced, and yes, at times--a complete overhaul! yeah  

Funny how we can feel like that, but you're spot on, Robin.  I think the last time I had any kind of overhaul, the parts must have been defective, LOL!! 

(Giving the 'motor' too much gas can be an issue with me, also, if you know what I mean...) rolleyes

Oh well, onward and upward, revving the engine and smokin' the tires....(loud motor noises here)

I'm so thankful for the days my engine runs smoothly.  Wish there could be lots more of them!!

I have extreme fantasies about having a whole new spine put in. Wouldn't that be awesome!! I have had extreme back pain since 2000. I have a full and active life, work, date exercise you name it. But now that fibromyalgia has hit all is slowing down. So a body shop would be an awesome place.....just imagine. LOL

I'd like a newer sleeker model. This body has too many bumps and dents and the seat is overstuffed. ;)

The electronics keep shorting out too. The lights are on some days but nobody is in the driver's seat.

Yep. Many times, when someone asks me what I want for Christmas or birthday, all I can come up with is: a new body. Or at the very least, a new spine.

I'm sorry yours is giving you so much trouble, Robin.  shakehead   I know you don't like taking the pain meds - but sometimes, what else can you do?  And bad timing, too - darn it!

Thanks for the smile. I can so feel your need for the shop. Too bad I have to wait to the 6th to see someone for pain relief.
