Hallie- there are several things you can do to manage your fibro. One of the biggest thing is limit your stress. Stress will set off fibro big time. Sometimes making some lifestyle changes help too. This means looking the amt. of hrs. you work, sleeping habits, eating habits and the amount of exercise you get.
I do the following to keep my fibro regulated. Heat, rest when I can, limit stress, eat healthy, light exercise, vitamin D, magnesium, calcium, remron and subutex for pain.
Try not to get discourage to quickly because it does take weeks sometimes to get good results from things I mention.
