Before fibro diagnosis did anyone think it was a vien or blood disease?

I keep researching and researching. If its not lyme it has to be fibromyalgia..
Nothing else comes close. And I CAN'T make any other disorder fit.

Doctors obviously don't think it's anything too threatening.
But there is still this part of me that feels like they are missing something.

I feel like there is something wrong with my blood or viens.
When I have pain in my hands they turn red and blotchy.
When I have pain in my arm I feel like a vien in that some spot is suddenly really noticable that wasn't there before.

Sorry, maybe I'm just nuts. But I thought maybe there was someone else out there that has been for sure diagnosed with fibromyalgia that experiences something like me....

Everyone here has been so nice and helpful.

I get the sensations of a cross between tingling and feeling like I have fire in my veins. Is that similar to what you are feeling?

I have gone through and continue to go through and pick other diagnoses. I think it is partly the nature of the beast of fibro and disease are often mislabeled as fibro. My sister-in-law thinks I have EDS. There is a vascular kind.

Also, I am having issues with blue nail beds- circulatory issues that have me wondering what is going on with my blood flow. Yesterday my heart was racing (which is something really new) which also had me wondering about my circulatory system. I get splotchy hands and feet sometimes but I think it more has to deal with them being cold- possibly raynauds.

I hope this rambling helps- my thoughts are not too cohesive this morning yet- caffeine uptake hasn't occurred yet!

In general, avoid Dr. Google. He isn't a very good doctor, in truth, and a live human being with training and access to tests and bloodwork is going to be your best bet towards a useful understanding of what's bothering you. Sure, human doctors are flawed, but the average person doesn't have the diagnostic tools at their disposal or in their training to make sense of their subjective experience of symptoms.

Dr. Google just scares people. He's a big old meanie.

Have you been checked for lupus?  That is very similar to fibro and I think the skin gets blotchy.  You might head to the lupus forum and see what those members have to say, too. 

 

BUT, you really need to get a good board certified rheumatologist that treats fibro patients as well as these other illnesses.  One who will listen to you.  You seem to be in a panic and I don't blame you when you have all this going on and no answers.  We all are just guessing.  You need good, medical answers so you can start getting the help you need for what is diagnosed.
